Cookies are small files that a website saves on your device and can read later. They may remember your consent choice or help measure visits. Here, the term also covers similar storage and tracking technologies.

Your browser may retain cookies for less time because of its settings or because you delete them. Analytics cookies may be renewed on a later consented visit. WordPress login and editing cookies apply only to site administrators, not ordinary visits.

Why, and on what basis?

Necessary cookies respect and remember your choice. They fall within the exception for strictly necessary storage. For associated personal data, Inner Phoenix relies on its legitimate interest in operating the website correctly; consent records also support the legal accountability obligation. Analytics cookies and the associated measurement rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Google Analytics and retention

With your permission, Google Analytics receives page views, interactions, referring websites and general browser and device details, alongside a random cookie identifier. These data are pseudonymous, not fully anonymous. The contents of contact form messages are not sent to Analytics. Google Signals and user-provided data collection are disabled.

The current Analytics settings retain event-level data for 2 months and user data for 14 months. The user-data period resets on new activity. These periods do not apply to aggregated standard reports. A cookie’s lifetime on your device is therefore different from data retention at Google.

Who receives data?

CookieYes Limited (United Kingdom) provides the banner and consent records, including a consent identifier, timestamp, choices and a masked IP address. The current Basic plan can retain consent logs for up to 5 years. This is separate from the 180 days for which the browser remembers your choice. WP Consent API communicates that choice within WordPress.

Google Ireland Limited provides Analytics, with possible processing by Google LLC in the United States. Google describes transfer safeguards, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses, in its international transfer information. CookieYes processors and safeguards are described in its data processing agreement. You can also request further information at info@innerphoenix.be.

Change your choice or delete cookies

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of the screen or the footer link to decline, allow or change optional cookies. Declining does not affect access to the website or contact form. Withdrawing is as easy as allowing and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Your choice will be requested again after 180 days, or sooner if the purposes change materially.

You can also delete cookies in your browser’s privacy settings for innerphoenix.be, together with other stored site data if desired. Deleting the consent cookie makes the banner appear again. Blocking all cookies may affect necessary functions.

External links and your rights

Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Google Maps open through ordinary links. Clicking takes you to an external service with its own cookie and privacy policy. The website currently uses no advertising pixels or automatically loaded social feeds and makes no decisions with legal effects on you based on cookies.

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data and object where applicable. Email info@innerphoenix.be.
